Introducing the safety circuit
Effect: In order to ensure the safe operation of the elevator, the elevator is equipped with many safety components. Only when each safety part is in normal condition, the elevator can run, otherwise the elevator stops running immediately.
The so-called safety circuit is equipped with a safety switch in each safety part of the elevator, and all the safety switches are connected in series to control a safety relay. Only when all the safety switches are on, the safety relay will be closed, and the elevator will be able to operate electrically.
Common safety circuit switches are:
Machine room: control panel emergency stop switch, phase sequence relay, thermal relay, speed limiter switch
Shaft: upper limit switch, lower limit switch (some elevators put these two switches in the safety circuit, some use these two switches to directly control the power supply)
Pit: broken rope maintenance switch, pit maintenance box emergency stop switch, buffer switch
Inside the car: emergency stop switch for the control box
Car roof: safety window switch, safety clamp switch, car roof maintenance box emergency stop switch
Faulty condition: when the elevator is in the stopping condition, all signals can not be registered, fast and slow cars can not run, the first suspicion is that the safety circuit is faulty. Should go to the machine room control screen to investigate the status of the safety relay. If the safety relay is in the open release condition, it should be recognized as a safety circuit problem.
